Just a quick note to let you know why you haven’t heard from us – doggone Canada internet issues! Coverage here is spotty and/or very expensive. For me to send one blog update with photos would take our whole allotment of megabytes that we’re trying to make last for emails, etc for the next month until we re-enter the US.
Since you last got an update, we have travelled up the Champlain Canal, through Lake Champlain, to Montreal, and up the Ottawa River to Ottawa, where we are now. We’re all well and continuing to thoroughly enjoy our looping experience. I think the dogs have done a better of job of communicating in French than we have, but we’re managing fine.
We are about to head down (or is it up?) the lovely Rideau Canal. We are going to meet Karen in Kingston, Ontario next weekend, where she will join us for a few days!
I am continuing to prepare blog updates and as soon as we get to a place where I have both time and strong free wi-fi, you can expect to get several posts.
